4 ESSENTIAL MAKEUP BRUSHES FOR THE LAZY GIRL
OKAY... I'll make it SUPER CLEAR I am no makeup artist! But I do wear makeup like every other woman on the planet.
I just don't wear it every day. Since my fiance passed away it was the last thing on my mind. However, now that I am starting to feel a little more human again I needed something simple, easy and effective to use.
I use to have a whole collection of brushes and never really knowing what to do with them, I just end up using my fingers. Recently I started watching Patrick Starrr (who is now my got to for Makeup tips) and started noticing what tools he uses.
Now I just a hand full of brushes/makeup tools that are a staple in my everyday makeup routine (that don't cost an arm and leg and all from Kmart and Target!).

FOUNDATION
From the moment I started to use makeup I use to use fingers to apply my foundation (gross I know), then in recent years moved to a blending sponge. But now I LOVE to use a brush, in particular, a flat top brush (or otherwise known as blending or buffing brushes).
Honestly, I don't know how I lived without one for so long. It's perfect when you just what to use something light like a BB cream or for the days you need a bit more coverage from a full coverage foundation.
My TOP Picks:
1. OXX Studio Liquid Foundation Brush Price: $10 (Kmart)
2. Flat Top Blending Brush Price: $12 (Target)

CONCEALER
It's not a brush but it makes my list. Most people will use a brush for this, but my concealer comes with the applicator. So I use that the place the concealer under my eyes then blend wit my beauty blender.
Also what's great about concealer is if you pick a slightly lighter shake it can act at a highlighter.

POWDER
I apply powder to set my foundation and concealer, for this you want a makeup brush that has longer fluffy bristles, unlike your foundation brush.
A good powder brush will allow you to set and touch up your makeup without moving any other makeup such as foundation and concealer on your skin
I use the Real Techniques Base Flawless Powder Brush.
My TOP Picks:
1.
1. OXX Studio Large Angled Powder Brush Price: $10 (Kmart)
2. Compact Powder Brush Price: $12 (Target)

BLUSH
I use to use a powder brush to apply my blush. I must say it did work for a while, but now with contour trend, you need to have a little more precision.
To apply my blush I use the angled powder brush from Target.
